The 2020 Australian Pipe Band Championships will be hosted

by the Maryborough Highland Society at Princes Park

Maryborough, Victoria, over two days - 4 and 5 April.

Maryborough Highland Society hosted the first Australian

championships in 1961 and has staged the its annual

New Year's Day Highland Gathering since 1857.

Bands across Australia and our friends overseas are invited to be part of this Diamond Jubilee celebration

The Adjudicators

Maryborough Highland Society in conjunction with Pipe Bands Australia and Pipe Bands Victoria will be appointing adjudicators drawn from RSPBA and Australian panels.

Adjudicators from Australia and overseas for piping, drumming, ensemble and drill and dress will be announced in September 2019.

Live streaming to the World

The 2020 Australian Pipe Band Championships will be live streamed to the World each day from Maryborough, Victoria.

The Prize Pool

Prizes and trophies totalling more than $11,000 will be offered at the 2020 Australian Pipe Band Championships distributed across Grades 1, 2, 3, 4A and 4B, Juvenile Grades, Street March, Drum Major and marching events.

 

The champion band in each grade will also receive the victor's pipe banner and champion band members special 60th anniversary mementos.
